I can't be in the sun because my skin burns and blisters easier because I have rsd. It also swells up more an gets really red. I also take some meds that make it impossible for me to be out in the sun. Maybe it's your rsd acting up or some meds you are taking. If I were you I would check with your pm dr to find out.
