Statins cause nerve damage, and cell deaths.

In reality the push for statins is ending, slowly but surely. Soon they will be discarded for safer newer drugs. This is already happening.

You won't find many pharmacists who will tell you the truth, as they won't discourage RXs today. Most doctors are not well informed either.

I provide the other side of the safety profile so patients here can then decide for themselves if they think a statin is worth taking for themselves.
