Default Weakness in Left-Upper Body

Hello all,

Several weeks ago I noticed a sudden loss of strength on my left side in exercises such as bench press, pull-ups or lat pulldowns, and all tricep exercises. I cannot recall any traumatic injuries or discomforts that may have caused this. All of a sudden there was weakness and before long there was discomfort and eventual pain in my left rhomboid/trap. Further, the rhomboid began to eventually knot.

I'm young so, I thought I would just take it easy for a while thinking it would correct itself, but it never did. I've since been to the chiropractor and he never gave me any real answer. He provided me with some other information about the base of my neck being a wee bit straighter than it should be, but did not mention that being the cause of my weakness. Also, and I only mention this after doing some reading online, he did not say anything about the potential of a pinched nerve. He prescribed me with a 20 visit plan to "fix my issue", but I'm a little skeptical as I was never provided a clear diagnosis of my issue and, much less, a plan of action; rather, he just suggested that I come in 3 times a week for electric stimulation therapy followed by a massage and some neck/shoulder/back popping. I do not mean to offend anyone by saying any of this and I could be completely wrong in thinking that what he was planning is NOT the best method for fixing my issue.

I'm just confused and really want to fix this. I love working out. My job is in the fitness industry, my fiance and my best friend love working out and this, whatever it is, gets in the way of that.

Oh and one another thing... more often recently I've noticed twitching in my left pec, left lat, and left tricep.
