You will likely benefit from getting some diagnostics on your upper neck. Upper neck injuries often are a leading cause of head aches. Sleeping with straight neck posture is helpful. Some gentle traction and light mobilization by your physical therapist should help.
What is this 'physical therapy specifically for concussions' ?
It may help to ice the back of your head and upper part of your neck.
