I suppose the music ballads probably high lighted his voice and were boring as heck for Slash -- and the fans.
Imagine if they could have worked out their differences (and Axl gotten properly medicated)? We could have had a few more amazing albums from them.

When band mates break up over creative differences -- there is no way to fix it. They probably have a deep connection to each other but . . .like a divorce . .. they never want to deal with each other again.
