Hi CVallonio,
As I've mentioned to you before get away from a neurologist and see an Epilelptologist because these Drs. specialize in epilepsy and can find out a lot easier what is causing the sz. Years ago they thought it was just scar tissue on my right temporal lobe but as time went by and testing got better they found out I had 2 bi lateral lesions very deep in my brain and not a single test showed it, they found out after I had my brain surgery done. If you see an Epileptologist you will be taking less meds, and they will take there time with you in their office answering any questions or concerns you have.
other than a brain tumor causing epilepsy these are a few more things that can cause epilepsy: a bad scare, lack of oxygen at birth, difficulities at birth, a bad blow to the head, drug & alcohol abuse, genetics, heart problems, and sometimes diabetes, or MS can lead to epilepsy.
I wish you only the best of luck and May God Bless You!
Sue
