Just a few general curious questions to calm my self down

Would the way this heals would it be similar to a tooth extractions or very different since there is a flap and graft as I understand involved, sometimes taking several months heal?

Also for work I need to talk, and when I talk sometimes a little air goes down? is this going to be issue where I need to stop stoping all together for to heal?
