I've been noticcing the forums have been getting very slow lately. Today especially, it is like pulling teeth to load a page. The forum smilie page wouldn't even finish... it was going in hiccups.
I think there may be some problems going on. I was getting ready to post a thread to ask if anyone else had noticed slowness. Have you, perchance?
As to the lockout, I seriously doubt you could have caused that. At most, you could get locked out if you type your password wrong several times in a row. But not by pasting a bad image code. It would have to be a bad, BADDD image code, and I mean malicious, like with an embedded virus, LOL!
If you typed :madd: or something, it just would just show the text in the post, instead of the image. Same with an incorrect link.
