Welcome Thomas ,
I must tell you, we are happy to be able to help in some way new members but sad to welcoming you for this reason rsd,
Rsd can be trigger in many ways ,no only by getting hurt sensations like needles or a small hit,but also stress which is the worse trigger of all. I heard cases of people getting rsd due to a blood drawn or blood pressure , the pain gets back no matter the reason ,a trigger is always a thread to feel that awful pain again and stay their for a while.
First ,try to rest and relax the best you can ,as much as possible , second make sure your dr is aware what triggers your pain and also let nurses know what arm should be use for blood drawn ,avoid anything on the affected area or limb.
www.rsdsa.ord have plenty and useful tips hope, you can get some advantage and also get the most educations and know rsd so well to really understand how is work and hoe you can be able to control flares .
Best wishes and good luck ,Jesika .
