I'm sipping a nice hot cup of green tea right now. It's allergy season and it helps clear out my sinuses. I've never noticed any effect on anything else, but as you say, no harm. I've heard that for maximum health benefits you're supposed to do some kind of special preparation with de-ionized water or whatever, and a special bowl made from mountain clay. but I'm not coherent enough to do anything like that - I just microwave the mug of tap water and plop the tea bag in. Works fine for my uses, and maybe it's helping my brain a little bit.
