Hello,

Hockey has suggested I comment about visual-spatial issues. I was just diagnosed with them about 2 months ago, and was mostly unaware that I was having visual difficulties. I knew my balance was compromised, and I would frequently bump into things and walk on a single side of hallways, but I never attributed this to my vision.

I now have prism glasses, which help me a great deal with dimensions, like width and depth. I can negotiate stairs and hallways much better now.

As far as the discharge and falls you experience, I would definitely get your neurologist to examine you for anything more serious, and perhaps refer you to a neuro-ophthalmologist/ neuro-optometrist to examine you for potential vision changes which may be leading to your frequent falls. Take care, M-i-m
