fewer and fewer "good" generic mfg's and ingredient mfg's
great example is impax labs, FDA has fined them for mfg'ing deficiencies which has delayed their new sinemet cr from being approved by at least a year.
unfortunately stockholders are forcing drug companies to raise prices and/or get out of generics and chinese/indian/etc. mfgs at times cut corners and lowball prices which speeds up the better generic mfg's to unload less profitable drugs.
seems like it's only going to get worse.
