I ended up doing a 3 week intensive mental health program..just got done with that and I was starting to feel better until today. The United states department of labor is taking my side but WC is still being horrible and won't help me...they want it to go to trial. My lawyer says their trying to make me desperate. My lawyer says they don't see enough changes yet..like my nails falling off. What??? My nails are going to fall off? I just want to go back to work and be done with this nightmare.

Katie I believe you need to emphasis to work comp that you need another exam by a neurologist who specializes in CRPS. Stress to them the level of pain that your in and tell them directly but nicely that you want to see a neuro doc when being evaluated for this disorder. That a foot doctor is not a neuro doc. Also document document document everyday how your life is. Keep all records from the docs. Build your case so it can't be denied unless their blind which in that case find out specifically why they stated you were ineligible then address those issues head on. And no most people don't loose their nails. Have you ever heard of Dr. Swartzman? He is a brilliant doctor in Philadelphia you might want to go see.
