The only shoes I can stand to wear are Merrill clogs. I have several pairs of them. I have them on from the time I get up until I go to bed and the older shoes feel better than the new ones. It takes about a year for them to break in for me. They are rather heavy, but I have tried lighter shoes and I fell like I am going to fall. Shoes that tie or have velcro feel so tight on my left foot even though I know they are not. Sandals do not feel like they give me enough support and closed heel shoes are always slipping on my heel.

These are the only shoes that I have been able to wear long term since 2007, when I had my first major MS flare.
