Celeste, Well, one of its potential side effects is severe weakness.

This channelopathy stuff is rather complex. But these articles might help, although they don't exactly answer your question.

If you don't have a sodium channel that stays open, then you don't need to try to shut it. So, if you do use fluoxetine which helps to regulate it, there might be potential muscle issues. Seems fairly logical, eh?
