One of the problems with any head injury symptoms is they can cause us to focus on little issues that previously, we just overlooked. It is a natural part of how the brain works. Once we start indexing the concept (basically making a mental and memory image of the concept), the brain starts to see and pay attention to these concepts much more frequently. This is why we tend to notice a car model 'everywhere' after we have just purchased that model.
This is the same way TV doctors can cause mad rushes to the doctor for benign symptoms.
