Smile Parsonage Turner Syndrome

Hello there!
I am new to this site. I thought it would be interesting talking to others who may be experiencing similar issues as myself, and also to learn new information about them. I had been experiencing thumb pain in my right hand for about a week. I went to the doctor and got a superman x-ray. Everything on that was fine! But the very next night my hand started to turn and I no longer could move my fingers or wrist. I went to a bone doctor and they said I most likely had Parsonage Turner Syndrome. The prognosis was supposed to be long term, however, after about a week "I conquered it." I had some problems with it about a week later, however it wasn't nearly as bad. But this past week my hand has been turning (palsy-style ) and the paralysis has returned. This has been on and off, happening about 4-6 times through out the day. Each time it returns it varies in length. Sometimes for just an hour, sometimes for several hours. Anyways, I go to see the Neurologist ... Mr. Brain Guy ... in a week. I am hoping they can find more answers. I'm not 100% sold on this being Parsonage Turners, due to the fact that it has not been very painful, and has been coming and going. But that's my story. If any of you have had similar problems I'd love to hear! Thanks for taking the time to read this
