I have also heard you are not suppsoe to stop taking Lyrica abroptly. I had to stop taking it also. I have no medical insurance and would have to pay for it myself. If you are low income you can go through your doctor who goes threw the medical company that makes Lyrica and you can get it for free. I lost all my work medical from not being able to pay for it. My pharmacists at Safeway pharmacy also found some thing at a local level that helps pay for my pain meds. So I am only paying 1/2 of the normal cost. My wc Doctor also wrote me a large amount at once and that also brought the cost down. I also jsut found this on the internet. It is called Together RX Access 1-800-444-4106 and can reduce the cost of some meds up to 50%. You just present it at the time you go into to pay.
