Our rooster is pretty mild mannered, it is the old hen that is the mean one LOL.. I can go pet Rooie in the evening on the roost, but reach near the old hen and bam she pecks hard..she has always been a stinker.. The nice hen was the one that got trampled when the horse ran into the barn , she recovered quite well after many months, other than losing vision in one eye..and then decided to die all of a sudden out of the blue.

We did have a ornery banty rooster ages ago that chased youngest son until he tripped and fell down, by then I was chasing the little rooster away..
rooster didn't stay around long after that..
