I'm sorry PCDjourney. I wish you weren't suffering but you are not alone. You can always come in this board to vent. I know it is very hard as I have lost a lot too and you're right. People for the most part don't understand but on here they do. My thoughts are with you.
I don't know much about neck injuries but I'm sorry yours were severe. I wish I had more to offer than my friendship. But it's there if you need it.
