Good morning, I am writing in regards to two things. Cervical surgery and ssdi. First of all I've Ben dealing with chronic pain,loosening feeling in right arm( sometime left also) facial spasms, severe migraines( sometimes having black outs and vomiting) this was a work injury that was mis diagnosed because I kept saying pain was in my shoulders. So I had surgery on my right arm that fixed tears and the bones that were rubbing and getting caught. After I received little relief from pain after surgery they seem to get annoyed with me instead of checking for the source of the problem. Their Dr.s not me. After I received a small settlement and had to resign from the job I loved. I was able to go to a dr who wasn't in the work comp list. Right away he was shocked to she the damage in my neck. Was told he was surprised I had any use of ether arm. Also the damage could be why I have loss hearing in left ear. I have herniated disk, spine is reversed in wrong direction, and all nerves are being impinged through out neck. Also it is shifted to the left. He said he has never seen a neck so reversed. One of my questions are, has anyone had surgery to repair your neck. I've been reading that there is a new procedure that they replace the disks that are damaged. I had an appt with a kaiser specialist ( which I am not fond of kaiser the least bit) he said I had a 50/50 chance of being paralyzed from neck down. Which scared me so I just deal with the pain and continue to take my bunch of pills everyday. I hate those too( make me feel as I'm going crazy some days.) I feel bad for my children because they have to go through this with me. Many times I just wanted to take myself out of the picture. I begin cutting or going for a ride and realize that would be the worse thing for me to do to them is leave them. So I'm still here. I need phyc help. But stupid new medical husbands work switch to is $300 a visit. Already own them $3000 for daughter going. Sorry just rambling. I no longer talk to anyone. I'm ashamed of what I have become. Anyways now to second question,
How long does it usually take to get ssdi after already recieving the fully favorable letter about a month and a half ago. It is desperately needed. My parents been helping us so were not homeless but we would have Been with this long process. Maybe then I can get the help I need. Thank you if anyone replies. Sorry meds are taking me out.
