I am now 2 years post op after my third surgery all on my left side. I have NTOS/ATOS bilateral. I have been able to avoid any surgery on my right side with therapy that I do at home. I can tell everyone that yes it takes a lot of time to recover from the surgery. A lot more than what the doctors tell you. I am not 100% and probably will never be there, but I love life again and have moved forward. Yes I have a few bad days when I overdo it. I can pretty much do whatever I want, however there is a bit of a price to pay for some things. That usually lasts a few days.

Would I do the surgeries again, ABSOLUTELY!!!!!

I would say that it was about a 12-18 recovery for me, but I have also learned a lot about myself during that time. I also learned the importance of good nutrition.

AVOID: sugar, dairy, and peanuts as they cause inflammation in the body

Pineapple and other foods are actually anti inflammatory
I also take plenty of Omega 3 which also have anti inflammatory properties.

Good Luck to everybody and God Bless
