This is a good start, Andy....
Don't overdo the ice however. You might try placing on your
lower sacrum on that side that hurts the most. That may help too. Sometimes getting the nerves at the spinal level works better.

A week with ice treatments--- try twice a day, no more than 20 minutes at a time...and see what happens. I find using at around 4pm is a good time for me, because that is when my pains seem the worst.
