You mentioned goldfish (for a minute there, I thought you were talking about the crackers

) Well, that's a great idea but I have a suggestion for a more interesting, more beautiful and very hearty fish - called the
Beta fish. They are also known as Japanese fighting fish, which means that you can only put one in a bowl - if you have more than one, they actually do FIGHT! We've had one for a long time now, and they last years, often. They come in all sizes and colors, and have beautiful fins that look really neat as they flutter along. You only need to clean the bowl every few weeks, if you want to. Petsmart and all pet stores have them, and all the supplies you would need. Read up on them, there are some interesting facts about them, too!
