Default Essential Tremors and muscle pain

My daughter is 16, and has had tremors for about 3 years now. A little over a year ago, she was diagnosed benign essential tremor. It started out in her right hand, and then gradually increased to being her arm, and now also includes her shoulder. She has mild tremors, but they increase in frequency and intensity with stress.

She is now complaining of her muscles being sore around her shoulder area and along the shoulder blade, and her arm in general. My thoughts are that possibly the contracting of the muscles in those areas during the tremors, especially when they are more frequent or intense may have something to do with the muscle pain.

Does anyone else experience this and/or am I overthinking this? Thanks in advance for advice and comments.
