Very interesting thread--it jogged my memory too. My husband has had shingles twice and both times received the zosta shot. He also received many shots while in the Air Force for 30 years and before going to Viet Nam. He now has myasthenia gravis. The neurologist decided it must have come from exposure to agent orange in Vietnam and also Thailand, because all the other tests came back negative. But his bouts with shingles were more recent than his agent orange exposusre.
