SSRIs will do this. Also people low in magnesium and Omega-3's get twitches. There is even a study on PubMed done by Basel drug company... investigating Omega-3s for eye twitches...their finding was that this intervention was very successful.
Long term use of SSRI drugs leads to muscle twitching do to their
effects on dopamine lowering in the body.
