I am also very happy that you have found a good doctor who listens and seems aware of your needs! My doctor mentioned BuTrans patches a few years ago, but we went with the morphine because of the cost and ability to adjust upwards when necessary. I am curious how the BuTrans works for you, as we both have the complete absence of small nerve fibers in feet and legs.
I currently have good pain relief on the MS Contin, but as you said this is for the long haul and we need to have options.
