Hi Friends
I've decided to give B12 supplementation a good try, as my pain isn't improving on a gluten-free diet, which I started January this year.
I'm wondering if Jarrow's 5000 cherry (at Iherb.com) is still considered an excellent brand, since I haven't seen mention of Jarrow's in a long time. I'll have to order online as Methyl-b12 is not available in Australia. So while I'm at it, should I also grab something else to assist the B12 (perhaps R-Lipoic Acid), or will the B12 be enough for now to see if its going to help me?
My apologies if this has been asked before, but after an hour searching this thread I haven't seen anything.
Getting desperate and hoping B12 deficiency turns out to be the reason for my pain. My Doctor said my B12 results were on the low side of normal and not to worry to much. I now know "low side of normal" means Low Red Alert!
He was more concerned with my Iron levels and putting me on Iron supplements.
Anyway, I think it's high time I gave B12 a solid try. Appreciate any advice. Thanks!
Debbie
