When I had upper and lower wisdom teeth removed, my dentist did not give me any pain meds at all, and I called him crying several hours later. So just make sure you get plenty of pain meds, have soft food for your recovery and maybe have your DD stop by a few times a day. If they do not feel as though they fit afterward, get right back to the dentist and make him do it over. I think there's an adjustment period until the swelling from the surgery goes down though.
