I know a lot of people have worked very hard to get to this point. I appreciate their effort. However, there is a time and a place to fight a battle. The last seven years with a President that is against funding this type of research and will veto the bill every time it comes across his desk is not the correct time unless there are enough votes to override the veto(when was the last time that happened?). We have a House and Senate that can't agree to disagree so this is not the place.
As much as we all hate it I'm afraid we are just going to have to wait until Bush is gone to do anything more. Why beat a dead horse?
