I take tumeric everyday. If you are taking curcumin, remember that it is extracted from tumeric. Extracting it this way means you are removing other beneficial properties, and ingesting this one component in far greater quantities than you could otherwise.
I would suggest taking the whole root form of tumeric (it still works wonders as an inflammatory). Start with just one capsule (they are usually about 500mg), and perhaps try eating a little something first. See if that helps and maybe then you can graduate to higher doses as your tummy allows.
It is a wonderful supplement. I have been eating it for years in curries, though, before I ever took a capsule.
