I was seeing my pain doc and was asking him to sign my short term disability paperwork. He refused, saying he wasn't a disability doc and would have no way of determining if I was 30%; 50%; or 100% disabled.

I got my paperwork signed, but my point here is that there seem to be doctors who DO identify and prove your complete disability. Perhaps if you can find one of these and it can help you.
