Pramipexole (Mirapex)
I've been prescribed Mirapex (Pramipexole) 0.5 mg for Restless Leg Syndrome.
My Neurologist prescribed it for me. He never mentioned that it is a PD drug. My pharmacist told me.
I know that some PD drugs cause some undesirable side effects but I have not had any with this drug. I just take 1 pill before bed and it completely take away all my restless leg symptoms.
Just wondering if anyone else has taken this med for any other reason other than PD.
