So true. Also, some states have more plans than others. I am in N.J. & for 2015 there are over 20+ ins programs to choose from. 
The Medicare For You personalized booklet that you get every year if you are on Medicare list all the plans for your state. Makes it easier to choose. Info overload for sure.
I have stuck w/the same plan since these ins programs first started I believe around 2005.
I am w/AARP United Health.
