So glad to read these responses.
Originally, my contacts were for far distance. I had "readers" for seeing near. After car accident, I really thought my vision problems were a change of my eyes. I went and had them checked, the doctor changed my lenses to one near, one far.... told me it would take awhile for my brain to realize the difference.
I could see out of them, however, I was more apt to vertigo and episodes of blurry vision. So, I attempted glasses. Well, I if I am looking directly through the lens... I can see fine, but let my vision catch the bifocal lens...and I am on the dizzy train.
I do wear my glasses for driving, but that is it.
