Hi Stev
The paddle is a wider flattened approach to the stim lead. Being thus, it is more secure upon implant against movement such as throwing hay bales.
I was in twilight as the trial was emplaced. It allows thus for communication with you to verify proper placement.
The trial is easy for recovery as the insertion point of the leads is about it invasively. I felt able to handle really trying it out within a day.
