I recently discovered that I have an arachnoid cyst on my left frontotemporal lobe, I have lost friends, girlfriends, jobs and I am worried it is consuming me and taking control of my life. I have concentration problems and all sorts of mood, personality changes and depression. Mental changes have taken over my life and I fear the sight of every new day, I dont feel or act like my old self, I know surgery is the best chance I have at a normal life but I am terrified and concerned that it still may not bring back the real me. I guess I joined this forum to feel like I am not alone with this and maybe there are others that can relate and shed some light on whats at the end of the road and how I get there, anything would help at this point.
