Boiler... I'd look to circulation problems if you have that reaction to warming up.

Everyone gets that buzzing or tingling when warming up ears, or extremities from being in cold weather.

The PN type may be due to spasms or inflammation of the small vessels, instead under less extreme conditions.

Vit E (natural mixed tocoferols), fish oil, magnesium and some try arginine products, will help with opening spastic blood vessels so the blood can flow better. People with MGUS or cryoglobulinemia may need RX vasodilators.
People with high homocysteine also get inflamed blood vessel linings, so B12, folate and B6 may help this. Vasculitis also may be present and that is an autoimmune problem. A good curcumin supplement (optimized type), has shown promise in studies to quell some blood vessel inflammations.

I have osteoarthritis, and when it is bad, I get a buzzing in my first finger joints during low barometric pressures during storms.
