Hi Brain Patch,

I'm really sorry to read what has been going on for you lately with these new episodes of paralysis. That is very worrying.

You really must go to the doctor.
Write down a list of what's been going on for you so that when you're at the doctor's office you will have that with you and won't be so overwhelmed.

Perhaps these episodes are connected to your sleep disorder?

It might seem a silly question in light of all that you have talked about, but you're not diabetic are you?

EDITED to add: I just read your sig file after I posted and you say you have hypoglycemia. How is that treated? Have you been going and having regular tests and have you been tested recently?

take care of yourself.
Please go to the doctor. It's not good for you to worry that you have the same condition as your father had. You may not have that at all. The only way to find out is to get professional advice.

Keep us updated.

I have been having episodes of paralysis. I literally cannot move at times for hours. Sometimes I go for days without having any (or very little) control
over my muscles and movement. To the point that I cannot even eat because
I can't hold (manipulate) fork etc. : ( let alone prepare a meal.
I am just completely down on the couch or in bed. Doing ANYTHING has become
almost impossible. Is impossible at times now.
