I contacted the group running this vaccine trial to see if there were any U.S. sites for the trial or if US citizens could participate. Answer "no" to both questions. Participants must speak German and live near the site for numerous follow up visits. I hope they can find enough PWP that qualify. This sounds like a promising trial but hate to get my hopes up again for something to happen relatively quickly. But if it's going to happen it will happen in Europe or outside the U.S. where they don't have the FDA and big pharma standing in their way.
