Sorry for a belated response, saw this post but my iPad keeps acting up on me. But you could try a mouse like this: http://www.amazon.com/Finger-Optical...Computer+mouse ... Hopefully you wouldn't be forced to seek buttons, or try to find one like the mice used on laptops, 90% of all mouse functions can be done with your finger moving on the pad without needing to hit buttons.

But honestly, I would strongly suggest brushing up on hotkeys. Just forget the mouse as a lefty in a righty mouse world, I use hotkeys almost exclusively. There might be a few games that I'm unable to and am forced to use the mouse, but the majority of my computer use is accomplished without ever touching the mouse.
