I'm also using this thread as a log and info for others. I went to the OS and was disguisted by his rude and dismissive tone. He told me that it could be the tooth on either side of the site or maybe there's an infection in my jawbone. Gave me augmentin and told me to go to my reg dentist and see him on Tuesday. I am not going back. My reg dentist took my right away and after proding said I have even more exposed nerves. She took much time to seal them off. She wants to wait till Sat to see if pain decreases. If it does then the exposed roots are the problem. If not then she said go the augmentin route. I asked her about possible nerve damage and she said no bc I have had radiating pain before. I'm hoping the dealing of the nerves works and can finally have some peace.
