First, don't worry about getting no replies for a couple of days, it is the Holidays after all.
As for your first post I am a strong supporter of infusions - I have half a litre of Lidocaine every 4 weeks - and oral Ketamine is my life-saver. My Pain Consultant, a working Anaesthetist swears by it, as does research when teamed with opiate pain killers.
No-one should be left in severe pain, especially when it has been caused as yours has, but you are definitely on the right treatment track. Just don't expect any improvement in the headaches unless they are referred pain from your neck.
