Martin, I would imagine it would be very different for everyone.

Residual vertigo has persisted (although much better) and is I guess the only problematic long term issue for me.

Some other things that were magnified post concussion have eased and some have not and so I tend to think they would have happened anyway, concussion or not.

I just spent a few hrs in the ER myself last night after slipping on some wet outdoor tiles and hitting my head again and I'm just crossing my fingers in hope that this incident is not going to trigger off any more problems.

Sometimes it's difficult to tell what is part of the syndrome and what is not, especially over a long period of time.

Remember also that a many people who have posted here in the past have experienced extremely traumatic and complex injuries in accidents so it's not really possible to compare.

If you read the thread in the Stickies at the top of the forum called 'posts on hope and healing' you can get a better idea of many other people who have posted here and who have done well.
