No they didn't make me get them 
The first time this young pain management dr saw me and read my records he knew I was in some serious pain. He's been nothing but helpful and kind. We talk about my treatment together and decide what the next step is. I did the sympathetic nerve blocks just to see if they might help. He was very disappointed when they didn't.
I've read of others on here that have to jump through hoops to get any pain medication. I feel very blessed to have found a pain mgmt. dr that is truly just that. A pain mgmt. dr.
