Ginger apparently reduces cortisol too.
Can also work as a laxative. It has many uses.
I've eaten almost raw ginger in stir fries. My favourite ginger is crystalized ginger. We used to buy it from China in beautifully coloured round crockery jars with lids. Haven't seen those in years.
