Have you looked into Interstitial Cystitis? It is sometimes referred to as IC. There is an over the counter product called Prelief that is a little hard to find, but you can also buy it at Amazon. You take two tablets before eating or drinking foods that are acidic like coffee. This helps me tremendously. (I have a mild case of IC) not every urologist is fully versed in IC, they may not even believe in it, but it is very real. Along with IC, which causes spasms and burning, sometimes comes pelvic floor dysfunction or a variation of this. This condition is also hideous. It involves extremely sharp pains in the pelvis. Just something to consider.
