I am trying to look at this as not missing life but a part of it....much like it takes the sun and moon to make a day. Sometimes it takes the good and the crap to fill out a life.

It is allowing me to be more positive about what Mark mentioned...doing what I can.

My wife took the grandkids skiing today and I missed it, I started to sulk but then realized being home allows me to fix dinner for my wife and I went to take some pics of the grandkids when she picked them up. Just little stuff that made me a participant in the day, different but still a participant.
