Hello to all. I went to visit a physical therapist last week and was promptly told that the reason I didn't get better was because I didn't want it badly enough!!! According to her, all I have to do is believe harder that I can get better and I will!!! I wonder if she would have said that to someone with cancer or MS or ALS etc. etc. etc. Why is it that the medical profession treats us as though we have an emotional illness rather than a physical one? It is hard enough living with this pain and the disabling effects of this illness. Having to cope with unkind, insensitive, off the wall comments is just too much. I am done with therapy! Grrrrrr!
